When the official with the sick son met Jesus, it was a desperate situation. The man had come to God with a bare faith, and after Jesus spoke, the man left confident that his son would be healed. Once he was at home, his faith was confirmed; his son had been healed. More importantly, his household now believed in Jesus.
May we learn to claim a focused faith that seeks the face of God. In the midst of life’s difficult circumstances, we mustn’t presume that God will heal us, instead may we be willing to say, “Let Your will be done.”
