The feeding of 5,000 was remarkable. Though the disciples suggested that the crowd be dispersed, Jesus was concerned for their needs. With a few loaves and fish, He performed a miracle so all could eat.
Jesus’ message to the crowd and to us is this: stop focusing on your stomachs and start thinking about heavenly bread that nourishes the soul and endures forever.
This bread is only found in Jesus Christ—the Bread of Life!
