Praise The Creator
Dr. Warren W. Wiersbe | November 6, 1977Selected highlights from this sermon
One of the greatest needs in the church today is true spiritual worship. And the best way to learn how to worship God is to look at how He is worshipped in heaven. By praising God, not only do we walk closer with Him, but we gain strength, have help to keep us from sin, and are better stewards of what He gives us.
Transcripts for Dr. Wiersbe's sermons are forthcoming. Below is an outline of his message.
May God help us to worship Him on Earth as He is in heaven.
One of the greatest needs in the church today is true spiritual worship.
Walking with, witnessing for, and serving the Lord are all byproducts of worshipping the Lord.

o These creatures represent the same creatures God talks about to Noah (Genesis 9:8-13).
o Right now, all of nature is worshipping God, except people.
o We have the most reason to worship God.
- The church should worship the Creator.
o Twenty-four elders represent the glorified church.
o God created all things for His pleasure.
o When you know the Redeemer, you can praise the Creator.
Benefits of praising the Creator:
- It helps keep you from sinning.
o God is in control of every aspect of nature.
o We are just pieces of clay.
- It makes you a better steward of what God gives you.
o Men have divorced creation from the Creator.
o Realizes everything comes from His hand.
- It gives you strength (Isaiah 40).
o God is equal to no one.
o He calls all of creation by name.
o He gives us strength.
o Worshiping the Creator is the best cure for worry.
o Nature doesn’t worry.
o We can only worship the Creator if He is our Father.
Heaven is a place of worship and so should Earth be.
