Nehemiah and the people were rebuilding the walls around Jerusalem. But not everything was going well. The rich were exploiting the poor while others worried about their land and putting food on the table.
Nehemiah demonstrates leadership by recognizing and remedying the problem. Filled with righteous anger, he was an advocate for the poor. Soon, the needs of all were met because he refused to be selfish.
