Preachers, Poets, and Martyrs | England Tour 2025

Join Dr. Erwin Lutzer for Preachers, Poets, & Martyrs: The Making Of English Protestantism. This 11-day tour will journey through England from May 29–June 8, 2025.

Join us as we examine the origins of Protestantism. Experience the sights and sounds of London and Oxford while exploring the lives of these inspiring figures. The tour will include stops at Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, Metropolitan Tabernacle, Christ Church Oxford, and other well-known sites.

Explore the histories of preachers such as John Wesley (1703–1799), George Whitefield (1805–1898), Charles Spurgeon (1834–1892), D.L. Moody (1837–1899), poets such as Charles Wesley (1707–1788), C.S. Lewis (1898–1963), J.R.R. Tolkien (1892–1973), and martyrs such as Thomas Cranmer (1489–1556), Nicholas Ridley (1500–1555), and Hugh Latimer (1487–1555).

You'll be richly rewarded with a better understanding of our own Christian history and, of course, the joy of meeting new friends.
