This Christmas, let's remember the mystery of the Christ-child. There's more to the Baby than the eye could see.

Hi, this is Pastor Lutzer. Well, my friend. I have lived through many Christmases, and I never tire of Christmas.
I often think that when our oldest child was about six years old, she said to me, "Daddy," she said, "Who was taking care of the world when Jesus was a baby?" Well, I'm reminded of the Scripture that says, "Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh." (1 Timothy 3:16). Now, if you ask the question, how did I answer? I said, simply this: That there was more to this baby than the human eye could see. That baby, lying in a manger, had the attributes of God invisible to the human eye, but nonetheless real attributes. And of course, as the God-man, He would go about doing miracles and eventually He would die for us.
The older I get, the more I love the Christmas story. And the more excited I get (and become) when I begin to think of the fact that the God-man came on a rescue mission so that you and I might be redeemed. From my heart to yours. I hope that you have a very blessed Christmas and always remember whose birthday it is that we celebrate!
