Saved By His Life
“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” —Romans 5:10
It is not the entire verse I am thinking of tonight so much as the last four words, “Saved by his life.” What are we to understand by this expression? Certainly the verse itself and the entire context makes it very plain that it is through the death of Christ our sins are put away.
